Description
Oshala vineyard is in the high mountains of the Applegate Valley, the close proximity to the Applegate River provide cool breezes in the long summer days. The Pinot noir ripens slowly and was picked fully ripe in mid- October. The must was fermented in small bins and monitored daily. The wine was pressed at 5 Brix and placed in once used French oak barrels for eleven months. It was bottled unfined.
